Review

Mr Fawcett saw my 98 year old mother who had colorectal problems. He and his wonderful registrar could not have been more thorough, more informative or kinder. He managed to perform a flexible Zigmoidoscopy without sedation, which might have exacerbated my mother's dementia, with no pain or distress caused to her. They both listened extremely carefully to what we had to say concerning her symptoms and our concerns, answered all our questions fully, and took time and trouble to explain outcomes. They treated my elderly mother with the utmost respect and gentleness, and Mr Fawcett gave us complete confidence that the right course of action was being followed. I recommend him highly.

It took several months to get an appointment to see Dr. Fawcett. This Doctor bumped two patients behind me, making me wait in the clinic for 45 minutes. He made this choice because I was a total of 10 minutes late for my appointment. If this is endemic of our health care system, then it is worse than I had imagined. I cannot recommend any doctor who punishes their patients for being slightly late. Doctors make patients wait ALL THE TIME.

Never had such a bad experience with a doctor before I’ve seen by dr Adrian Fawcett. He didn’t trouble himself to review my problem. He suggested to text my vitamin D and he reluctantly accepted it and result wasn’t correct. I had to search another Dr.

I am so sorry that this review is coming late, Mr Fawcett took his time to listen to me and gave me best options on treatment when I had Anal Fissure, I have had it for months before my consultation. The procedure was carried out a week after my first consultation (Nov.2016). I was alright and starting feeling good 3 days after the procedure. Till date Nov.2018, I have no complains and still feel great, no pain and no stress. I am so grateful Mr Fawcett, thank you so much and Thank God for life.

I was operated by Mr. Fawcett 8 years ago for haemoroids. First time I was in hospital for an operation. I was frightened, convinced I would not make it of the theater (hypocondriac!!!). Before the op, I was uncomfortable, bleeding, etc. Those with the same condition will know. Mr. Fawcett changed my life for the better, he was great ( cannot think of another word). I am still OK, all these years later, thank you so much Mr. Fawcett, THANK YOU.

Forthright, sympathetic and with the sort of non-patronising bedside manner I prefer. I am sure that his manner is tailored to his evaluation of a patient. An excellent surgeon who has looked after me for the last 5 years.

I have received excellent care and advice from Mr Fawcett. Mr Fawcett took time to deal with my questions, in particular during my long stay in hospital when first diagnosed. I have never felt rushed when discussing things with him either in hospital or as an out patient.

Although Mr Fawcett is fairly direct in his verble approach, which siuts me perfectly, it may be a little harder for some. His professionalism is absolutly spot on, and I trust his judgement and ongoing advice completely.

I have been under Mr Adrian Fawcett for about 10 years and always found him to be completely honest about my condition, never trying to fob me off with any half truths. His bed side manner could be copied by some other doctors, he has great sympathy and kindness and will always try his hardest to be cheerful and encouraged me to look on the positive side of things even though I am a very positive person we all get our down time and he will do his best to bring you through it. Mr Fawcett has looked after me as a long term patient because it was discovered a family history and since my first operation and my last he arranged regular scans to keep me safe. I would recommend him to anyone who has to have surgery
