Very straightforward I was dealt with in a calm reassuring manner. Procedure not the most comfortable (hysteroscopy with polypectomy and biopsy) but I was given the option of having done under general anaesthetic if it was too painful. I’m glad I had it done on the day as although uncomfortable it was all completed there and then. It wasn’t anyway unbearable and not as painful as expected.

I recently had a scan at this facility, and while the nursing staff was wonderful, the experience with the doctor was the worst I have ever encountered in a medical setting. From the moment the doctor entered the room, I was met with a dismissive and rude attitude. They showed absolutely no empathy for my situation, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a patient. Instead of explaining the procedure or answering my questions, the doctor spoke to me in a way that left me feeling belittled and humiliated. Their cold demeanor triggered an immense amount of anxiety, making an already stressful scan feel unbearable. It is incredibly disheartening to be treated with such a lack of basic human decency when you are in a vulnerable position. I want to note that the nurses were kind and professional, providing the only bit of comfort during the visit. However, the doctor’s behavior was unacceptable. No patient should be made to feel small or ashamed by their healthcare provider. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone seeking compassionate or respectful care.

Brilliant Consultant, thoughtful and thorough and all tests carried out super promptly (If I'm honest she's even better than the consultant I saw privately before her).

I found Miss Al-Shabibi to be very straightforward: she listened and answered my questions, but I felt she lacked empathy. Immediately before my procedure, she did not offer any advice on relaxation - a reminder to relax and breathe would have been helpful. She told me the cold gel was coming as she applied it, instead of before, and during the application of the gel I felt a little violated. The worst thing was, instead of quiet, relaxing music playing, or no music, during the procedure, she actually had "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen playing. I enjoy rock music but tgat track was completely inappropriate! As Freddie Mercury was singing, "Don't stop me, don't stop me," I was enduring dreadful pain and Miss Al-Shabibi asked me if I wanted her to stop. I said yes after the second time of asking as I had wanted the process to be successful. After she'd finished, she left the room abruptly without speaking. I burst into tears as I felt like I'd failed in having to stop her with the procedure. I felt distressed and the lovely assistants helped me regain my composure. I would not recommend Miss Al-Shabibi to anyone as I felt she was enjoying her work a little too much, in the wrong way, if you get my meaning? I had a little difficulty being intimate with my partner the following day as I couldn't help feeling I had been mildly violated.

I came away from my appointment feeling disheartened and wound up. Miss Nawar Al-Shabibi was not interested in the symptoms I had planned to convey, she took notes down incorrectly, then tried to spin what I had said. She had very little interest in what had actually brought me to the appointment. She was not prepared to listen and oddly focused on other areas that were irrelevant to the reason I was attending. She was patronising and presumptuous. I strongly advice avoid seeing this doctor.

Speaking as an NHS nurse (who runs clinics), I am so disappointed with the treatment I received from Ms. Nawar Al-Shabibi. Twice I have seen her and she repeatedly interrupted me, dismissed my self-reporting of symptoms, incorrectly recorded my symptoms in my clinic letter, and generally I found her to be rude, dismissive and cold. I understand about burnout, but there’s no excuse for bedside manner as poor as this.

First time in my NHS experience that I came across a doctor who not only did not want to listen but constantly interrupted while I was answering her own questions. Very patronising and inconsiderate manner. A great disappointment after 5 months of waiting for a Gyno appointment.

Dr Al-Shabibi was not only highly professional and knowledgable in answering all my questions, but also kind and caring during procedures and afterwards. I have no hesitation recommending her at Willow Unit at Kingston Hospital.

I am happy to see that I wasn't the only thinking this woman ( Miss Nawar Al-shabibi) is rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. I had an appointment with her yesterday which I deem the most uncomfortable appointment I've ever had with any doctors. When I asked her a confused questions, she seem unwilling to answer and when she does answer, she was almost shouting right at me. She seem a disgruntled woman and shouldn't be allowed to work there anymore as I left her office feeling upset with her attitude towards me. To be honest, this woman doesn't know what shes doing as some information she fed me weren't completely true, thank goodness for seeking other opinion and they comfirm what I had suspected. She will look at you with judgey stinking attitude. Worst experience ever.
