Miss. Parmar gave me a full test and understood completely my problem with my "wandering" eye. She fully explained what would have to be done, and even though I had similar surgery some 15 years ago, I felt she put my mind at rest as to what was to happen. The operation in November 2014 was a success, and the recovery period good. I had my final check this week and was signed off. I think the fact that I could talk things over with Miss Parmar in detail really helped. I would have no hesitation in recommending her for ophthalmology problems.

My daughter was seen by Dr Parmar for an eye condition for approximately 4 years. I felt that she didn't listen to me and wasn't particularly interested in my concerns. She had been trying to discharge my daughter for a number of years but I specifically asked this not to happen. During our last appointment she had already decided to discharge my daughter and mentioned this as we walked through the door. We spent more time in the waiting room and about 5 minutes with this doctor; she looked briefly at my daughter's eyes and then told me she was writing to my doctor to inform she had been discharged. I later received a copy of this letter that mentioned 6/5 and 6/4 and have absolutely no idea what this means, whether this is good or bad. It is a real shame that this doctor was more keen to discharge a patient, rather than provide adequate care. I am extremely disappointed.

A great doctor performed surgery on my 12yr old son that corrected both his eye position and sight this has left my son with a lot more confidence and is now a much happier child . After surgery this doctor personally went to see parents to inform how the operation went .this we felt was very caring

I had been considering strabismus surgery for many years but I was frightened to have it done just in case anything went wrong and I would ended up looking worse than when I started off! I eventually plucked up the courage and had surgery to straighten my left eye on the 14 October 2014. The Operation was a total success. I would recommend surgery to anyone with a similar condition. Dr Parmar was great, explaining exactly what she was going to do during the operation. She also encouraged me during recovery which made the healing process much easier. The Operation has totally changed my life and I now feel more confident with my appearance. I also found this web site below very useful, as it explained what I was about to go through. https://adultstrabismus.wordpress.com/
