My daughter was referred to Dr Hyer aged 10 months and 5 years on I feel writing a review will still not do justice to the experience of having him as our physician. We including our child are his biggest fans :)

Really trusted doctor Hyer. He didn’t rush into medicating my child but made sure I felt listened to and that he was monitoring us closely. Then when we did choose to go down a route of care he explained it clearly and made me feel I had choices throughout. He is reassuring and supportive and I always come out of his appointments feeling relief and positive.

I have to say I’m very disappointed with Dr. Waren Hayer. I read all the good reviews here and decided to visit Dr Hayer for my 6 months son’s allergy problem. We visited Dr. Hayer twice, both time we are well prepared with questions and symptoms photos that we took in order to give Dr Hayer a better view on what happened on my son, as his symptoms comes and goes. Unfortunately, Dr Hayer was not patient enough to listen to our concerns and also did not show much interes in looking at the photos we prepared. Maybe he is well experienced to understand my son’s issue without paying attentions to the details, but such attitudes made us very uncomfortable. Moreover, both time we can feel he was in rush. During our first consultation he went out to answer a phone call (more than 5 minutes). Second consultation, he was more than 20 minutes late and the whole consultation took less than 15 minutes, we have not had chances to ask all our prepared questions! Am I the unlucky one? We are private patient and paid lots of money for his consultation fee! We can’t feel any of the attention, warmth described in the previous reviews.

Response from Dr Warren Hyer

Thank you so much for providing this honest feedback and I apologise for your experience. As you can see from other reviews, this is a most unusual outcome. I pride myself on not rushing the consultations for anyone, and space apart appointments adequately. In the light of your feedback, especially as there is a risk of emergencies delaying me at Chelsea and Westminster, I will allow longer times for appointments at that location specifically to avoid this scenario happening again. Please contact my PA, and I will arrange to see you for again, at a convenient time to address any outstanding issues for free. We will also refund you for the 2 previous appointments as well. Again thank you for this feedback and we have taken this feedback into account and made changes to the scheduling of appoinments at Chelsea and Westminster.

Dr. Hyer was friendly and practical and advised in a way that was sympathetic towards both child and parent and engendered a sense of trust. He also took time to deliver blood test results personally and made us feel he really cared.
