Dr Sarah Jarvis

My family and several friends have seen a change in Dr Jarvis. After 10 mins she is liable to say your time's up. If you want to talk more make another appointment. Has a tendency to patronise and write prescriptions seeminglybefore patient has spoken. Several of our friends now find her rude.

Dr.Jarvis has been looking after me for eighteen years, during which time I have developed multiple health problems, some rare and, indeed, life threatening. On the many many occasions I have needed to consult her, she has never failed to pursue every avenue of investigation, and her judgement on when, and how, to treat or monitor or refer on or simply reassure have been unfailing. ~She always informs and educates me on my conditions, so that I can help myself and never feel powerless. Dr.Jarvis never stints on her time, despite the complex needs of a busy and sometimes problem-beset clientele at an inner City London practice. She will extend her care holistically to social and welfare needs if relevant, snapping at the heels of failing local authority departments on her patients' behalf. We agree that we are exceptionally fortunate; without Sarah Jarvis, I personally would not be alive to be submitting this entry.
