The appointments system is outdated and time consuming as this happens only by emails backwards and forwards. The simple remedy would be to provide patients with a telephone number to make or cancel their appointments. When the doctor is away a date when he will be returning to work would also be most useful

Dr. Luke S P Moore is the best consultant I have yet met. I was referred to him after experiencing a life-threatening complexity from a urinary tract procedure requiring a 2-week hospital stay. At a time of heightened anxiety, when I was struggling to get straight answers from other care providers, Dr. Moore immediately put me at ease by addressing the matter directly, transparently and humanely. He broke down complex medical jargon into plain English that made sense. When tests were ordered, Dr. Moore explained what the markers meant, then promptly called back to go through results. A detailed recovery plan was put in place with Option A, and back-up Option B; followed by regular check-ins through to resolution. Dr. Moore went above and beyond at every step. Dr. Moore demonstrated genuine care by taking central charge of the situation in a way others had not, and fostered a level of safety and trust that I think should be the norm, but in reality, is quite rare. Our consultations have been in-person, over the phone and via zoom - each thorough and incredibly helpful. At no point, even when I was asking more questions than the average - did I feel rushed, dismissed or not listened to by Dr. Moore. For this I am truly grateful. Clinic letters were detailed and sent promptly, often on the same day. Dr. Moore's PA, Beverley was a great help throughout. There are several doctors around with top credentials. However, Dr. Moore's intellect combined with his superb communication and empathetic skills make him exceptional. Dr. Moore has tastefully handled sensitive matters that could have been indignifying. He has not only been a thorough professional but an absolute gent. I 100% recommend him.

I had the most comprehensive & helpful consultation today, regarding very complicated recurrent urinary infections, which I have been battling for years. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Dr Luke Moore. If you're looking for a consultant, I'd suggest getting in touch with him now. I had been in a lot of pain and under a great deal of duress until I was treated by him. My prior treatment had been ineffectual - too little and too infrequent. I felt that other consultants and their administration before Luke were disengaged from my care, and they told me it was a fait accompli that I would have a chronic condition for the rest of my life. Luke's confidence and experience in dealing with Prostatitis meant that this has not been the case. He immediately transformed my care and treatment plan. He also liaised directly with my GP when necessary. My previous medication was completely insufficient to rid me of acute bacterial prostatitis that I had contracted because of long covid. Had he not intervened, I fully expect I would now have a chronic condition. He explained everything thoroughly and what he was basing his recommendations upon. He was at all times approachable, providing clear contact details. He took the time to explain everything and offered in-person or video meetings - whichever suited me. I felt that I could reach out to him whenever I needed to between consultations. However because of his expert approach I didn't often need to. With Luke I had a clear plan and timescale of treatment and a clear plan with timescale of testing. Also a clear understanding of a 'Plan B' if 'Plan A' didn't work. However, 'Plan A' did work. I managed a difficult treatment and diet regime together with Luke, and it worked based on his thorough and scarce expertise of how to treat this condition. I am no longer in pain or anguish, I no longer have difficult symptoms, and I'm now on a return to work. Can't thank him enough!
