I saw dr wartnaby last Monday after experiencing an unusual episode on the Saturday prior.-------but when I actually saw the doctor I felt absolutely fine and apologised as I thought I was wasting her time. She asked me to explain the episode and gave me a thorough mot and said she believed it to be an ophthalmic migraine--------she listened very carefully and putt my mind at ease.

My son, all of a sudden felt really low and started to suffer from panic attacks. After a few days of seeing him shaking, close to tears with fear, and frightened of being out in crowded places I took him to the doctors and even though he is now an adult I went into the appointment with him. Dr Wartnaby listened to us both as we explained what was happening to him. We talked about what may have caused this from his past and what was happening in the future that he may have been worrying about. She explained what was happening in his body with his serotonin levels to make him feel so low and anxious. He started to feel a bit better after leaving the surgery due to having a Doctor who is sympathetic and willing to listen. Even though he has a way to go to get better he is feeling positive that with time and help he will be back to being a happy fun-loving young man.
