I am in a peculiar predicament with food. The nhs is cash strapped and it’s an ongoing political argy bargy.

Suggested improvements
Due to my condition is effects my speech, this was something I didn’t have before my Stoke. Think that’s why I’m on water diet, but also because cash strapped nhs. It’s not perfect but they do the best they can in the service in the current situation within the nhs. It’s as good as it gets. Kindness is irrelevant when the operation of a hospital is like this.

Overall the quality of service was very good.

The staff are very good and considerate. Only 1-2 were slightly off, maybe didn’t know what they were up. Lots of different staff coming in to do observations. However there are a core group of staff, I’ve gotten to know them and it’s quite good. Coming from a bay to a side room has been good. They shut the door and let me sleeep. My experience is different from being in a bay. I have a tv (although doesn’t work properly). I have plenty of room, can have 2-3 people hear and not worry about other people listening in. Thanks to the person that fixed my bedside table.

Suggested improvements
The TV. When I come to bed sometimes, it isn’t made. Not sure if it’s staff to do it or I just get in and make the best of it. I have asked about it, then it is done.

Therapy is good. Staff are kind and encouraging. Appreciate staff are doing their very best. Food is not very good, my daughter brings food in. Without this, I don’t know what I would do.

Suggested improvements
Some staff are kind and caring, other staff not so much. Understand not everyone is the same. Once I was using the bedpan, staff left and I didn’t know where they went. I had to use the call bell, once someone came they said I was too demanding and moody. Therapy are very good.
