It is totally impossible to get a routine appointment with a Doctor. The receptionist just says call back next week and the same story, no appointments available. The receptionist give you conflicting information.
The on line booking system does not allow you to book appointments but refers you back to calling the receptionist.
The surgery has taken on too many patients and can not provide the level of service required The vast increase in patients without extra resources means that patients suffer.
This used to be a really good surgery but has really dis-improved dramatically.
Every single time I have been to this GP in the morning at the stroke of 8 am, I see these 2 ladies at the reception with no smile ever. When I see them I already know they are not giving me an emergency appointment (ever) because they are there to make sure only their favorite few or known people get those.
I am new to the area and they are not even approachable to be able to make any human connection with them!
The doctors seem to think you just need to depend on nature and you will be okay by yourself. I don't understand why in spite of paying NHS surcharge £800 + monthly national income tax.. we can't even deserve to be looked by a doctor?
The practise has been told by NHS psychologists to refer me to the national autism service. Nothing has happened. This is the second time that this referral has been requested, the second time it has not happened.
Because of my condition, I am extremely anxious and have trouble with interpersonal conflict with bureaucracy- I am least equipped to constantly fight for the bare minimum of care that you are supposed to provide.
Your callous disregard is both shocking an unpleasant.
Moreover, your practise is so poorly-run that my partner has had to go private for contraception- you require appointments for repeat prescriptions, yet they are unavailable. You refuse to book mroe than three weeks ahead, and often cannot offer an appointment within that timeframe, making it literally impossible to access healthcare.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The Receptionist are very uncaring, abrupt, and unfriendly. Follow up results are not communicated as they should unless you chase them up. Some of the dictors I've seen ate much caring but most of the time the surgery is completely staffed by locum doctors who have no idea of your medical history and just fob you off with pain killers. Very disappointing with the standard of the surgery
It is so difficult to get through to the surgery to make an appointment. For the second day running I had to hang up as I could not wait long enough on the line. Yesterday I was number 14 in the queue and today number 11.
I am registered for the on line booking service but there are no appointments at any time available to book on line, so useless option. Similarly there are no appointments available on the automated telephone line.
It is almost impossible to see the same Dr each time so with an ongoing condition there is no continuity and no familiarity.
The Surgery has grown hugely but has not got the infrastructure nor the office staff in place to deal with this surge in numbers. It has put undue pressure on the existing staff and made it a very difficult and stressful experience for the patients.
The service this Surgery provides has dramatically disimproved in the last two years.
