I saw Mr Chowdhry briefly when I was referred as a NHS patient for a full replacement knee operation. The operation was successful and I saw him briefly after the operation and then when he discharged me back to my GP. I had 100% confidence in his ability and the operation went well (though I developed sickness and Vertigo) and the scar has healed well during the past 6 weeks.
I know how fortunate I was to be referred to the Nuffield and found Mr Chowdhry and all the team, especially the physio department, to be caring, and giving their very best to each patient.

Mr Chowdhry was a great doctor on a professional level. He was very informative about my needs pre surgery and after surgery. Was friendly and made sure that I was relaxed the day of my operation and was nice to have a visit and chat the day after in my hospital room. Thanks to Mr Chowdhry I feel like I have my life back after my hip replacement. Would definitely highly recommend this doctor.

Mr Majid Chowdhry is an experienced and comprehensively trained knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon. His specific area of interest lies in sports' knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, meniscal surgery, and hip and knee replacements. Alongside this, he performs revision hip and knee arthroplasty and fractures of the knee, hip and pelvis.
