Dr Astroulakis was in charge of my treatment when I was admitted, as an emergency, to St Georges hospital suffering a heart attack. On that evening, her professional, calm and reassuring manner was exactly what a very frightened (me) patient needed and in the follow up consultations she has been exactly the same, explaining her proposed course of treatment during every step and making sure that I have been involved in the decision making process. I cannot praise, thank or recommend her highly enough.

I had the privilege of being referred to Dr. Astroulakis via my surgery for ongoing health issues. What I thought should be a daunting experience as I was passed into the hands of a cardiologist, was quickly reduced into a relaxed atmosphere as I sat in front of someone who appeared not only concerned with my welfare, but fully interested in what I had to say and still found the time for small chat along the way. Dr. Astroulakis efforts to ease my anxiety were very noticeable throughout my consultation, and the game plan for my treatment very clear. A letter written to my surgery by the Doctor regarding my referral was forwarded on to me, and such was its passion and preciseness , it confirmed any doubt I may have had that I was in the care of the best possible hands. I'd highly recommend Dr. Astroulakis to anyone and I wish her all the best for the future in her glowing career.
