After two telephone consultations with Zoe, I met her face to face. It is my absolute pleasure to have this opportunity to give feedback about this exceptionally empathetic Consultant. I’m lucky enough to have been signed off her books but if my cardiac investigations had led to some action being needed then I would not have felt in safer hands. Zoe (for she invites you to address her by her first name) has such an easy manner and is so emotionally intelligent that she makes one feel immediately at ease both on the phone and in person. Importantly, she is very thorough and diligent without putting the fear of god into one! I went through a gamut of tests for which I was so grateful and was given the good news that I was to be signed off yesterday. St George’s Hospital has been nothing but efficient and long may they have this wonderful doctor in the cardiology department. Julia Waring

I would highly recommend Dr Astroulakis as an exceptional cardiologist. Her reassuringly thorough approach meant going to huge efforts to obtain all historical test results and following up on past treatments, which was much appreciated.
