I didn't feel that I had been helped at all with my problem, It was though it was too much trouble to help. Yawning in front of me several times and asked to remove the equipment from my arm and go a sit in the waiting room. I was litterally 10 out of 10 in pain
Practice feedback :)
Every one was very kind and considerate. Thank you for your care.
Excellent care
I was a little confused if I was in the right place as it was literally like a ghost town and no one was on the desk but I sat and waited and was seen within 15/20 mins.
Waited for nearly 5 hours to be seen by someone . No pain relief offered at all until I asked for it for my daughter. Even then it took about 2 hours to receive. Rude reception staff who are more bothered about you standing back from the screen than what’s actually wrong with you. Misinformation being given, doctors and nurses tell you to take your urine sample to the window then when you get to the window you are rudely told to take it away and someone will come collect it. Sat in the children’s room with absolutely nothing for children to do no television on etc. Waiting times are atrocious, no idea how long the wait is and no screens to inform you like there used to be when I asked the reception staff about this she said the times were so bad they took them down…. The doctor we eventually did see was great and took the time to talk to us but apart from that it’s an absolute shambles. Visited Scunthorpe A&E now numerous times over the year as my daughter has an ongoing condition and each time it’s worse than the last.
I do appreciate for the nhs what they doing for us. With due respect sometimes for some people all nhs system been blamed. Dr’s body language wasn’t professional . He was calling me by the finger. And was looking annoyed to talk with me. The receptionist was aggressive to patient before me becoz the gentleman was struggling to understand something . She did same to me. Everyone on duty was looking so much annoyed!!!
I was feeling like I would prefer to die around my family rather then be there. It’s took 3 hours to be seen by dr. I went there for allergy reaction from jackfruit . After I ate jackfruit I was feeling itchy from my thought towards stomach . I took a piriton after that I started vomiting and feeling like everything will come out and so much pain.
I arrived in the small hours of the morning after calling 111. I was tree-arged very quickly although the department was busy. i was treated sympathetically from the moment I arrived from the A & E staff to the cubicles. I was then transferred to ward 27 where I was very well looked after by Julie and her team. I was seen by several Doctors/Consultants/ registrars, all were very courteous and listened to my situation. I think that with everything going on with the Pandemic, I was treated with care and dignity. I am in aw at the level of care I received.
The staff were absolutely fantastic.
I found the reception staff and nursing in the reception area were too busy with their own conversations and chats. Seemed a very relaxed attitude.
