We weren’t greeted when we arrived, A,C was too high so felt very cold had to move to a different location in the waiting room as I got pain in my head from the coldness.
The toilets were very poor & old fashioned not tidy paper towels just on side not in towel holder. toilet paper and paper towels on floor. I’m disabled so this was dangerous. The mens toilets my husband used had broken mirror and had been taped up. Not really a very comfortable waiting area and facilities.
However the doctor I saw was 5 ⭐️ and gave me all the time I needed and was very thorough. friendly and polite.

The idea is great. Unfortunately the zoom call didn't work this time but everything could be done via a phone call. What would be good is to add video call option into the app scheduler so its easier to schedule a video call with the consultant. Another enhancement could be to use teams as well as zoom given some security risks with zoom. But happy with my call.

Dr Jon Simmons is the trauma plastic surgeon. I will need to remove the bony overgrowth in my ankle joint to help ensure nothing negative happens to my ALT flap.
Dr Simmons was very warm and welcoming. He reviewed my ALT flap, and we discussed my previous care at Charing Cross under a couple of his colleagues. He was delighted to see how well the ALT flap had integrated naturally into my body and hear about the activities and lifestyle I led despite the injury profile.
He explained that my ALT flap was not at risk of dying during the procedure but would need to assist Nadeem (orthopaedic surgeon) for 20 mins in case complications arose.
Despite facing surgery to remove bony growth spurts in my ankle due to developing arthritis, I left the appointment feeling uplifted, as Jon expressed that he was thrilled to see how well things had turned out for me.
