apart from a mess up over checking in so that i was kept waiting half an hour, everything was great.
Reception aren’t good at communicating to the practitioner!
Lack of knowledge on transmission of follow up information under USELESS app my chart
I was really nervous and unsettled by having treatment I wasn’t expecting and the nurse was extremely kind and caring and nice. She made everything better and I can’t be more grateful.
I was seen promptly at the clinic but was quite surprised that there was still only one working lift. This lift was also out of order when I visited back in November. As the single working lift was busy both times I decided to take the stairs. Perhaps another lift could be made available somewhere else in the building?
Dr Burn took time to explain what he could see on the scan and was overall a positive experience.
Professor Sharma was very good and I got the answers I was hoping for.
This is my second visit to the the Portland site and it's so lovely. The staff are fantastic and the environment is very welcoming.
The experience is very polished, but you need to tell people in advance that they will be running uphill on a treadmill. I ended up running in my socks and suit trousers as the invitation only said "wear comfortable clothing". I would rather that you get things like this right rather than give me an apple and a sandwich afterwards. Buying my own sandwich from Pret after the appointment is very simple task, whereas a sweaty business suit is a nuisance.
One other slight compliant concerns the shiny label on the bottle for the faecal sample. I tried to add the time and date of the sample three times and each time the ink just rubbed off on my figures.
The doctor was very good, but I felt for the experience to be truly first class you need to get things like the above right.

Look at the stars. Obvious.
