I made an appointment through the national contact line to take my mother to Boots Opticians in Wimborne. When we got to the opticians on the due day and time, we were told that the appointment had not been made with the branch. Due to work commitments, I had made the appointment specifically on a day when I was able to take my mother. She is only able to walk short distances with the help of a walking stick, and needs to use a wheelchair for longer distances, for example from the car park to the opticians. The optometrist, Gill, and dispenser, Roney, at the Wimborne branch were very helpful, could see the situation my mother and I were in, and did not hesitate to slot us in to their schedule. My mother and I are both extremely grateful for their assistance. The moral of this story is: Always book your appointment direct with the branch. I will certainly do so in future.

I went in to see if they could replace a lost screw in my sunglasses. Roney was able to find the right size and replaced it for me for free. I think this is great service and am extremely pleased!

The Boots Opticians in Wimborne is so welcoming and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable. Lisa and Carolyn were very helpful as I had my two children with me as they were having their eye test as well. The store is very clean with everything laid out well and neatly. I will be visiting again to choose and purchase a new pair of glasses and know the customer service will be as good then. I have recommend my mother and father go their for their checks.

Really pleased with the care and service I received, could not fault a thing, was not pressured into buying new glasses as my prescription had only changed mildly, I'm diabetic great news is Boots have the contract to screen me for my yearly diabetic eye check up now, have been to Boots for 30 yrs for my eye check ups.

Will be returning for future eye tests with Claire. It was very thorough and she explained everything fully. She advised what lenses I would need before passing me to Ashleigh who equally was very thorough when explaining benefits of certain lenses. She was very patient too. I didn't feel rushed at any stage and feel I've got glasses that are right for me.
