Optometrist was very good and friendly. When I walked into shop, 3 people working on till but took a minute or so for someone to look up and ask if they could help. Was then taken to waiting area. Man who took me in told someone else my name then walked off without saying anything. The girl he spoke to carried on with what she was doing then eventually acknowledged me.
Friendly enough staff eventually but just felt like shop/sales staff rather than a professional opticians.
Professional manner of staff, fast but thorough eye exam. The optimitrist answered all my questions fully. I would definitely go back again for my next check up.
It was good that the appointment did not take long as I was very busy and had to get back to work. On the other hand it did not seem as thorough as usual so I wonder how effective it was. The optician also did not seem very familiar with my records. Usual person I see there (more mature Asian lady) is much more thorough and always seems to be familiar with me.
A friendly and very efficient service, with a great range of glasses available. Extremely pleased.
Afterwards when it came to ordering lenses / glasses was a shambles. I was give wrong, way too high quotes of cost... more than £100 higher than it should have been. Only sharp querying of the quote resulted in a reduction.
Also thought that a voucher I was sent in the mail turned out not to be applicable... the small print stood in the way. I was annoyed.
