The test was fantastic, the optometrist outstanding. I am however appalled by the fact that it was not explained to me that i was under no obligation to buy my glasses from Boots. It was 5.30 on Friday afternoon and i was taken from my test onto the shop floor where a young man proceeded to "help" me to choose glasses. I have never had glasses or been involved in the process of purchasing glasses. Time was getting late and i felt pressured into getting glasses which i am not sure about at all. At no point was it explained to me that i could leave with my prescription. The whole experience cost me £120 money i do not have! I have since found out i can get glasses for half the price!! I am livid that no one told me i was not obliged to shop there.

The online booking could be improved. It was not clear if I was having a contact lense check first or not. Having two different opticians do the eye test and contact lens check meant that the information they gave me was contradictory and therefore unhelpful. Also, your team was unable to find my records despite me being a patient since 2011.
