It was very straightforward. We both knew what was going on (my daughter and myself) and I was glad that they spoke directly with my child and didn't treat either of us as a third person.

I called in on spec (mind the pun) to ask if my new reading glasses and "office" glasses could be adjusted as I wasn't happy with the vision. Tracey came to deal with my enquiry and after explaining my concerns I was treated to an absolutely uprorious half hour of a consultation. Tracey explained very carefully and tactfully that age has a hardening effect on the eye (lense) muscles and, therefore, the eyes are not as adaptable as they once were. She used the analogy of some well-known sweets to explain the inevitable hardening of these muscles. All the explanations were given with a tremendous amount of humour and tact and I literally had to wipe tears of laughter from my eyes. Tracey was very patient and seemed to enjoy imparting her knowledge and putting me at my ease. If there were a lot more people like Tracey in the world, it would be a far better place. Thank for much laughter Tracey. You're a star.

Every thing was good about my visit. All staff were curteous and friendly while maintaining professionalism. I did not feel rushed and was able to make my choices with guidance from a staff member.

The eye examination was very thorough and I was given a recommendation for the type of glasses that may benefit me. I came in separately to discuss my concerns as I had been told that I was going to be referred as my eye sight had deteriorated since my last eye test and I was unsure what to do in the meantime as I had been having headaches and wanted advice on an interim solution until I had the results from the referral. I was assisted by Tracey who was very helpful and easy to talk to. She guided me to the best solution that was cost effective as a temporary measure and put my mind at rest regarding the referral. I was also able to chat to the optometrist for further information, which was valuable. I would recommend the branch very highly as all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
