Boots Opticians Sheffield - Queens Road

I called in to the shop to obtain a second pair of distance glasses. I was asked to pick the frames and an assistant would help with the purchase. A young gentleman called Alex approached and we went through the various options. The specifications were sorted and payment made. Alex was good humoured and patient , (me being an gent of advancing years.) The bill was paid and I will collect the specs in a couple of weeks. All together a very satisfactory experience.

The price of frames is very expensive. The same frames that you are selling for £330 can be bought online from a direct retailer for £129. The mark up on yours is very high compared to other opticians.

Boots opticians on Queens Road in Sheffield is fantastic! My optician is so lovely and Ryan helped me choose my glasses without getting bored. I would recommend this opticians to all my friends.

The optometrist did not pick up in that I have a bottom eyelid Problem. Steven the contact lens specialist found it and has Recommended treatment.

The chesterfield branch is terrible. I booked by phone and the person on the phone took forever. We arrived and we were told there was no appointment as optometrist called in sick. No warning was given. I lost half a day at work. When we complained a sheepish apology was offered. NO confirmation or correspondence about this appointment ever came through. We then booked the Queens Road appointment through the website and that worked great. No complaints. Some of the youngers staff have dubious interpersonal skills. However, the optometrist and the senior staff are amazing.
