We have used this optician for years and was going to purchase my Son new glasses and because he didn't have a NUS card to prove he was a student the girl wouldn't give him the student discount. This has never been requested before, students have to pay for NUS cards when they're in 6th form so a lot don't have them. When I got my Daughter new glasses a few months ago and she had ladies, no one requested proof she was still at school. I also had a voucher for free eye test but because I wanted to come and choose with my Husband and not but immediately they would not take my voucher and made me pay for my test, So we didn't buy any glasses and will be getting them elsewhere and will use a different opticians for eye tests in future. The friendly, personal service you used to receive has definitely gone, not a nice atmosphere.
