The assistant was helpful but was foreign and their accent was sometimes hard to understand what was being said and had to keep asking her to repeat their questions.
The assistant went through all the different lens options.
I asked the optician who carried out the eye test for my PD which would not be given unless I purchased glasses from you which is anticompetitive therefor I have chosen to go elsewhere for my prescription
All the staff were wonderfully friendly. Although I didn't need glasses the Optometrist (Satnam) took time to answer my questions and chatted being friendly while he worked. I didn't have to wait long and felt that the tests they carried out were very thorough.
It was difficult to book my appointment in the first place. I tried online but a day later I received a voice mail from a Boots employee on a withheld number saying it wouldn't be possible. I then tried ringing the appointment line and was put on hold then transferred to another line and no one answered so after 5 mins I hung up. It wasn't explained who I was being put through to. The third time was a success and the girl was very helpful on the phone. When I arrived for my appointment the staff were friendly and helpful but the optometrist was 20 mins late calling me in but once I was in the consulting room everything went well. He was helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. I am still waiting for my recommended lenses to be delivered.
Everything was fine and I didn't have to wait long.
I was very happy with my eye examination and the the lady optometrist was very friendly and very helpful and explained everything to me about the examination.
