This was a third return visit to try and fix problems arising from the initial incorrect diagnosis and eye tests. This is the second time this has happened with Boots, having supplied the wrong prescription on my previous glasses. On this occasion it turns out that my left eye prescription was wrong - yet again - and Boots are now having to order new left-eye lenses. Adding insult to injury I am told they cannot supply the previously supplied special coatings and then, four hours later, I am called at home with yet another problem relating to the frames. Al-in-all it is and was a bit of a shambles and the entire process is very drawn out and time consuming, likely due to the fact that all the staff seem to be juniors and every decision has to be double checked with someone of supposedly greater competence. Not at all what you might expect from a supposedly professional organisation charging hundreds of pounds for a wrong diagnosis.
