I had a very disappointing experience: I booked two appointments for my children and when we got to the store and after we waited for 10 minutes we were told that our appointment was cancelled because the optician did not turn up. I have expressed my disappointment and asked if we could be seen by anyone else I was told that unfortunately not. When I said that perhaps the system needs to change so that at the very least customers are told before they make their way and pay for parking, a member of staff said well we did say sorry..... Clearly needs more training to deal with customers who had a very disappointing experience.
The optrometrist who saw me very nice , polite friendly & give advice as much as he can
The staff were very helpful and I would definitely use the again
In my case everything was done to my expectations.
Staff were ok, optometrist was fine but this is the second time Boots tried to ask us to pay for eye checkup for contact lens even though they never told us prior that we are liable to pay if we don't take up a subscription.
Also, we weren't told of contact option in the beginning, not this appointment.
