My experience with Boots Opticians has been quite a terrible one. Getting appointments on time or my desired time has been tough. Sometimes I've had to ring their headoffice to push for an earlier appointment and wait for cancellations. When I have turned up for appointments I've always been made to wait (sometimes upto half an hour) for the appointment. At one point I was even sent home as my contact lenses hadn't arrived. On my first appointment I was introduced to the optometrist that would supposedly be dealing with me as I am a keratoconus patient and require a special lens. EEVERYYTIME I go to an appointment I am always seen by a different person. (I go quite often at the minute in time as I am on a contact lens trial). The special keratoconus lens I was given simply did not stick to my finger as I tried to put it into my eeye. I am now awaiting another pair but am still in the trial period. I don't feel as if I'm getting anywhere with Boots and I have a feeling they will tell me lenses are.not suitable for me as I have already given them bad feedback directly.
