Very detailed and everything was explained to me as we went through the precedures
My first prescription was too strong - I had left it a long time since my last eye exam and found the original optometrist was just doing his job. He did not ask me about my job or what I would use the glasses for, therefore the prescription was wrong. I could read perfectly well but could not see my computer screen which is what I need the glasses for mostly. I went into the branch and explained my problem and was immediately offered a re-test and it was found that although the prescription was correct it was too strong from the previous glasses I had. The new glasses are a perfect fit and I can use my computer during the day and also read perfectly well with them.
The only issue is timing - on both occasions I had a wait after my appointment time - the first time I was in my lunch hour and was 25 minutes late, the second time my appointment was for 9am on a Saturday and that appointment was 10 minutes late.
Excellent service from both the staff and the optometrist. Looking forward to picking up my glasses next week.
The name of the optometrist was "Shreya khastry" as far as I can remember, she did not ask me anything regarding contact lenses.
One of the other staff members were really helpful, I believe her name to be "Nadia". I was Really impressed by the high quality customer service and my fantastic new glasses she helped me pick. She was so welcoming and caring and the glasses she helped me choose was exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much Nadia and the rest of the team, definitely found my new opticians!
The only part of my appointment that I was let down on was the final consultation. As I hadn't worn glasses in years I wasn't 100% sure on the process and what I had to do next. The consultant took for granted that I did and more or less sent me on my way with my prescription. He didn't offer me to look at frames, lay out what I needed clearly and what the process would be I.e how long it would take if I did choose frames, how much it would cost etc. It was very confusing and the consultant, knowing that I was confused even apologised to me after for confusing me. I left having to go home and ask a friend what I needed to do.
Overall, there could be more care taken with the customer in mind, and what it's like to be in their shoes, rather than assuming they have the knowledge that they do.
