I was seen to by Toni Atherton, she was pleasant and efficient. I was booked for a contact lens check and eye test at the same time which was very convenient. My only criticism is the time I had to wait for my eye test after I'd had my contact lens check, it was about 15 minutes between the two appointments.

I received what I believed to be a through examination which was explained all the way . The optometrist was not somebody I had met before but he was excellent.

The service couldn't be faulted, however I think it is disgraceful that Boots charge £10 more for a 10 minute contact lense check than they do for a full eye test. They use the legal requirement for the annual lense check to get £35 out of their loyal customers every year, and we're forced to pay it before we can get our lenses. I love Boots but I will be shopping around for a more reasonably priced service from now on.
