I came back to boots to get my eyes re-tested as I always thought my prescription was slightly wrong. I spent £400 on my last pairs of glasses from boots so was a bit upset to find out my prescription was out by quite a large distance. After being told to buy new glasses (another £250) I was told if I wanted to replace the lenses in my old frames (which were completely wrong thanks to boots' first assessment) I will have to pay a further £99....... or buy a brand new set for £35!! Boots got my prescription wrong and were happy for me to pay a fortune on new glasses and then a fortune more to correct their old mistake. The lady who did my re-test was very good and professional but I'm incredibly upset by the whole culture of forcing you to spend more and more money and it's greatly unfair.
