Dear Boots
This was an awful consultation.
It was a double appointment; contact lenses and then a normal eye test. That meant they asked the same questions and performed a lot of the same tests.
I have used this practice for a long time - but none of my 'medical' information is stored, so they ask the same questions every time, and write them on pieces of paper.
This time to add insult to injury they did that twice.
I'd also bought some glass from your practice in Balham - but it seems like you act like separate companies because there was no record of that. The same was true when I tried to book a contact lens appointment in Stratford Westfield.
I spend nearly one and half hours in store - quite impossible. I wasn't handed my prescription by the optician who saw me. Although every was very keen that I signed a Data Protection form and a NHS claim form - even though I wasn't wearing glasses so I couldn't read what I was signing
The contact lens practitioner was professional, the rest of the experience was shoddy and not worthy of a brand like Boots.
Idrees Chaudhry was my optometrist that day and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
My optometrist Faeeza was simply brilliant - professional, highly competent, extremely knowledgeable and discussed all the options with me in a very inclusive and understanding way, and keen to arrange a follow up to check whether her suggestions were appropriate. Could not have asked for better service.
I received an excellent service from Khush and Binnie - I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my glasses.
They helped me to choose the frames, and was extremely patient - I really find it difficult to decide, and I am delighted with the two pairs that they helped me to choose.
