Everything was done so easily and smoothly I couldn't have hoped for better. Having never had an eye test before I didn't really know what to expect. I arrived early for my appointment but was seen straight away. Declan was very nice. After my appointment, everyone downstairs was wonderfully helpful on helping me chose my new glasses and what to do next. Picking them up in a few days, and only have high hopes ☺️

Seen on time for contact lens check and then had to wait a bit before eye test. Optometry staff seen professional and informative as were other staff members. However I do not think it appropriate for reception staff to disclose my home address and date of birth in waiting room. If details on records need checking with patient this should either be undertaken in separate room or by simply showing the record to patient and asking them to confirm if details are correct. As a former NHS manager I would suggest that this practice contravenes data protection and confidentiality policy.
