I did wait a long while at reception and was just told to sit for 20 minutes beyond my appointment time. Optometrist did apologise and was very good. But then I had to remind the assistant about the other eye checks.
Thomas was just fabulous, really helpful and my eye test was a pleasure. Thank you Thomas
Very helpful and reassuring experience. Thank you.
I was seen by Thomas Brambill, he made me very comfortable and answered all my questions. I needed glasses for computer work, even though I can read really small print at reading distance easily I struggle with computer work. He has recommended 3view glasses for me. Also updated my prescription for driving glasses.I went to the optician initially because I am having a slight problem with full movement in my left eye. Tom recommended I see the Opthalmist at the hospital and was good enough to fax them straight away. I was quite amazed, normally things like this take forever!! Also the young lady that helped me choose my glasses, I believe her name was Emily, was so sweet and very knowledgable. I liked the shape of one of the pairs of sun glasses...Emily said that was no problem, she popped the lenses out so I could see the shape on my face when they were clear. At all times they made me aware of what was happening, the price I would have to pay for what I wanted and the wait time was minimal! Great service...who cares about Spec Savers!!
The whole experience was very good and I was particularly impressed to receive a call the day before as I was new to Ipswich. My records were then requested from Wandsworth which was very good. I have been a Boots customer for many years and am happy to continue for many more.
