Share review of Boots Opticians Holborn
Whoever did the initial part of my eye test was clearly inexperienced- he didn't bother to check my prescription so my perifferal vision text was conducted without me wearing glasses- which at -8 means I was never going to properly see the lights. It meant not only did I spend far longer there- made me apprehensive about my sight and I had to go back to the test again. In general it was clear he wasn't very confident and I have no confidence my tests were done correctly. When I did meet the optometrist- I very much felt like I was a number not a person and he just wanted to quickly run through a check list of what he had to do. I've been getting my eyes checked on a regular basis for most of my life- and nothing about it left me confident that my eye health was checked thoroughly. I'm not saying the staff weren't pleasant and nice- but the experience overall was not great and is making me question whether I should continue with my boots eye plan.
