Boots are a company I've always held in high esteem. Which is why you should take this on board STRAIGHTAWAY. On the leg of each pair is the price (in bold). Choosing my pair the other day, priced at £100, we then sat down to check the rest of the details and prices. It was only then I spotted the "small print" beneath the price,....."or £150 for standard variofocals". This is unacceptable. The prices should be in bold, like this "£100/£150" (ie. the SAME size). This is an upfront, honest way to deal with people. And would prompt the question, "why the two prices ?", at which point an explanation would save any future problems. Rather than that, straightforward way of dealing with customers, I was subject to what seems like "sharp-practice"........and found a nasty-surprise when the total was boosted by £50 ! Boots are a trusted, long-standing company, and this will badly affect their public image. Please change this now, before your reputation takes a backward step. Alistair FitzPatrick
