I went for my annual check up at Boots, Princes Street, Edinburgh on the 1st February. The staff, as always, were excellent. I get the occasional optical migraine and the checks are very thorough. Jane the optometrist recommended a small medical check that has proved timely. The 2 staff Laura and Lori? (sorry brain freeze) were so helpful I would certainly recommend this branch for first class customer service.

I purchased new glasses in March 2016. In January 2017, I noticed that the coating was coming off one of the legs and irritating my skin. I went into Boots opticians and showed them. They immediately said I could choose a new pair free of charge.

I went to see what Boots could do for a pair of glasses that had beedn my second pair and had sat in a drawer for over a year. Within two months, they broke but, of course, were out of warranty. The dept. manager, Jim, offered me a replacement pair from a range of price options up to the original cost and made it a pain-free customer service experience. Two of the staff, Becca and Daniel were also very helpful. The thing is, over some four years of dealing wi this branch, I have never had anything except exceptional customer care at every point of the process, including - as with this cae - well after the event.
