Optometrist Nina was 10/10, great experienced, very professional and friendly lady!! (Boots at Colindale). Customer service and pricing 0/10. I signed NHS form for free eye test yet I was charged £25 'by mistake'. If a customer took goods from Boots without paying £25 ' by mistake' - police would be called- probably what I should of done. Your prices are ridiculous- I was charged over £400 for varifocal best physio with transition lenses. Luckily I took the refund and my own glasses back within an hour. I went to Asda and bought exactly the same lenses but also great ISL designer glasses, all that for £270. Unbelievable, I know! Their service was great with no mistakes, optimum timing and Asda will give me three weeks free to return glasses if I don't get used to varifical lenses. Interestingly when I asked your Boots guy what happens if I don't get on with the lenses he just told me 'don't worry you will'. BIG BIG disappointment with your customer services, I was ripped off! On top of everything for three appointments I spent 4 hours in total in Colindale Boots yesterday- which I have never experienced before. Staff needs to be more co-ordinated and to know what they are doing (especially as you have a lot of staff there). I will certainly not be buying any products from your opticians' stores in the future. I will stick only to cosmetics and toiletries perhaps. Final note: Improve your prices to match competitors offering the same range and quality and train staff to do sale with genuine care for customers!
