My Son turned up for a booked and confirmed appointment only to find out its been cancelled without any reasons. I tried to call boots reception to find out the reason and was hung up after saying 'I will see what went wrong'. Called second time ... call was picked up and heard someone mention 'hangup the phone...don't answer'. I had to ask my son to turn back as could not do much. Found this type of customer service very unlike boots. I changed from Specsavers to boots two years ago hoping for a good customer service and range of glasses but was really disappointed how unprofessional was the experience with Boots on this occasion. Although third time lucky I finally did manage to get an appointment booked and my son was seen. Kept fingers crossed so that this was not cancelled. Very stressful experience.
