I had to wait over half an hour for my actual eye test because of an emergency patient arriving, which obviously is not the fault of Boots. The staff kept me informed of what was happening. It was good service.
Efficient process with a very thorough examination and prognosis.
I came in with my mother in law as we both want new designer glasses. It was before 9am in the morning and when we asked for some the frames to be unlocked we were told they were understaffed and someone will be in in 10-15 minutes. Personally I couldn't understand why the young lady at the reception desk was unable to assist. However we went away and had a walk around the centre and came back. Again not a sales assistant in sight! So my mother in law asked the receptionist if any one could help us. This led to an argument between 2 members of staff and one stormed off behind the scenes. A few minutes later a young lady came over and reluctantly opened the frames. I selected my frames but I must say I have ordered them at another Boots store where the staff were attentive and informative and wanted to look after me. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered!
Very slow. Always wait at least 30 minutes everytime I have an appointment at this opticians
I was delighted with the whole experience from beginning to end and all the staff, including the practice manager, were exceptional. I shall return.
