Boots Opticians Basildon - Town Square

I took my 4 year old here for the second time, and they were great on both occasions. My son is very shy and they were very welcoming and put him at ease. The findings of the consultation were communicated to me clearly, along with their recommendations for the future. For my own eye exams, I usually go to specsavers, but after my experience, I'll be changing the whole family over to boots.
Very helpful and explained what options were available to me.
The ladies who checked me in and performed the initial tests were fantastic and couldn't fault them in any way. The Optometrist was awful! Continued to push her opinion on how I should go about my day around wearing contacts to glasses whilst at work, was sarcastic, and made me feel bad about the fact I was purchasing my contacts from an online source rather than paying for the Boots products. I told her I only pay £5 a month for my contact lenses and she was trying to push the £70 ones on me then try and tell me I had to pay £35 for an eye test I never had. It was such a let down as the older gentleman I had before at the same Opticians was wonderful and was always recommend him to anyone. But I won't be coming back to this Opticians again.
The appointment was timely and very proffesional
Appointment on time, friendly staff, and helped me to select my glasses, all the latest equipment, would use again
