the one major negative was that i told my wife it would take 4 hours. In fact 8 hours and she was distraught as no call at all that evening.

thank you to everyone who looked after us at ydh. the best thing for me is we were trusted and left to look after our baby with lots of offered support if required. we have a child so i felt this was perfect. also very accomodating re side room due to partner staying and c section. meant a lot as wanted to go home so made it easier

I arrived at the dept and was greeted with a smile from reception ,always a good start .Was directed to the seating area ,within 5 mins Chris (James ) collected me before my appointment time I may add! and the scan was explained and my information sheet was checked over .
Scan performed with dignity and respect .
Chris explained all the procedure clearly and in plain terms .
He is a star !

the support and kindness i have been shown during my stay has been overwhelming wonderful. There have been so many members of staff that have shown me the upmost care and respect here. i can't thank them enough. it was a scary experience, both my c section and the allergic reaction that i had but thanks to the staff here i felt fully supported and informed.

midwifes and nurses are fantastic and very caring. consaultants and doctors are very good but somtimes not the best at communicating and can sometimes have conflicting views. it would be better if we could see the same person more often. i seem to see a different consaultant / doctor every time.
