Although my care, when placed with the department was exempory. I found the process of accessing the correct help hugeing frustrating, and at times impacted my recovery. More training needs to be given to front line booking Staff. To streamline unnessary delays to get patients the correct treatment.

You did not offer me any counselling and sent me to an agency. This could be life threatening for some people. It could have been for me.

Offer counseling to those who need it.

I didn’t connect with the counsellor [name removed]. At times, I felt that he wasn’t listening to me, his mind was somewhere else. I didn’t get any positive feedback from him. Having counselling experience myself, In my view he was a poor counsellor. I was disappointed to say the least, and that’s why I discontinue the treatment with [name removed].

I felt unnecessary to fill in the forms every week.

The silver cloud app is great and the content is easy to understand. The extra features like breathing videos in particular were really useful however I don’t think it’s been updated in a while so could use some new content. In contrast the phone calls were not as helpful. I felt they were formulaic and not tailored to my needs. There was no opportunity to build more of a rapport with the therapist due to long periods between calls and therefore no continuity. I had to reschedule a session and gave more than a week’s notice but the process of trying to reschedule was cold and I decided not to continue because I felt like an inconvenience.

It would be useful if calls could be scheduled closer together so there’s more of a feeling of continuity and picking up where you left off last time. It would also be useful if therapists could provide more tailored advice and techniques without deferring to silver cloud. Finally, the process for cancelling or rescheduling sessions could be reconsidered. A templated email warning that you will be removed from talking therapies is not helpful. I understand the demand for the service but when patients genuinely need to reschedule and give a decent amount of notice it would be nice if some kindness and understanding is extended rather than defaulting to cold emails.

I didnt find CBT helpful for my situation, though the therapist listened to me talk it was clear there was a set course to follow.

Therapist called 15 minute late on my last session, this caused me to miss the call and they didn't try again. They emailed to ask how I wished to proceed and I confirmed I still wanted to finish the sessions but I was never responded to.

The person who evaluated me NEEDED THERAPY. I was never contacted by the manager afterwards. She hung up on me. Your service is prehistoric ridiculous inexistant and a disgrace. You basically DONT CARE. SHAME ON YOU!
