Even though very busy staff gave their undivided attention to me and were kind.
I received excellent treatment
Staff were friendly, efficient, explained what they were doing and what the next steps were. They referred to JR A&E and provided extremely clear and well written notes of their initial assessment
Staff took amazing care of my 2 yr old having split her lip quite badly from the moment i got there i was reassured as initially unsure if i needed to get her checked, a nurse immediately came to see us and agreed we should wait and be seen which we did and the same nurse later helped treat her.
As a first experience for my daughter i feel it was a very positive one due to the care she received and they were very led by her so thank you!
Clear discussion about symptoms, investigation and diagnosis, and corrective action to take (including medication)
Care and information
The Star wars very nice and patient and accommodating to my needs of my autism they even let me use the century equipment box which I found amazing on I think all hospitals should have it on every ward
Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I was seen very quickly.
Clinicians clear and helpful. Reception staff clear in their communication. Great to see the male receptionist be very patient and helpful with a non English speaking patient.
As ever the real challenge is to just be patient whilst being subject to the system. You don’t know where you are in the que, or how long it might take, and you are made to feel that asking is not welcome; you just have to sit and wait. There is no other service in my life where I have to just accept without question and just wait.
As it was, only there just over 2 hrs, which is good given I recently experienced over 24 hrs of waiting with an elderly patient in an acute settings.
