I fill in the information for my husband. I brought him in to Plane Tree day surgery unit at 7am this morning. To be told I couldn't stay with my husband because I was not his carer or a translator. I was or so told I couldn't sit in the Urology clinics waiting area as it would be busy with a clinic today. Was told to take a paper with the wards phone number on and to phone in 3 to 4 hours to see how things are going. My husband Mr Allen lane was very nervous about today proceedings, special as he was only told two weeks ago he has cancer. He terrified about this surgery and I feel I have let him down as I was not there for him in his time of need, to support and to care of him.
