He was seen too quickly, on time and was given a thorough assesment. The clinician was knowledgeable, informative and spoke to my son as an adult, explained everything to him and allowed my 15yr old to answer to all his questions in his own time.
Very warm and welcoming , very friendly very knowledgable generally a very good experience.
I was given superb care by Dr. Patodi, and the other staff in the theatre - Olie, Kate, Hannah, and Shelagh. My impression of the whole set-up in the West Berks Community Hospital was great, from the minute that I arrived to the minute I left. I'm aware that I haven't mentioned the nurse who completed my check-in. She was equally good and reassuring - sorry I didn't catch her name!
The facilities appeared new, large and well-maintained. The theatre area felt enormous.
My only negative was the car park. I had no coins and there was no easy way to pay without coinage. I was unable to use the digital facilities advertised on the machines. In the event I was helped by a lady (patient or staff, I don't know) who GAVE me 2 pounds in cash. I offered her a fiver, but she wouldn't accept. What an angel!!
