The physio had a good understanding of my back pain and explained the need for me to develop the muscles. However it focused on exercises which I had already knew and had been doing. I had expected some manipulation of vertebrae or ultrasound to free up the muscles. I have since taken the decision to push through and do much harder fitness classes and this seems to be working.

The letter inviting me to the session specified the date and time of my appointment but not the location. I actually went to my local surgery as this is where I had my assessment so I missed the first appointment. While the letter had the West Berk Hospital in the header it would be clearer to include this in the text also next to the date and time. Fortunately I was able to rebook on the same day.
