only 2 men doing x rays no women at all made you feel vunerable, they didnt seem bothered, when i was gowned and ready, one man was on his phone and didnt see me stood there, walked thru the staff areas, a young lad did the x ray, then told me to go back out and get changed not alot of conversing at all, I had to ask the questions, just a very poor service, like they didnt really want to be there, and it showed.
Once I was in the waiting area within the a and e department, I suggested to the person looking after me what I thought it was, as she had no idea. She then spoke to the registrar and she agreed with me. She was about to take bloods but it had already been done, so I told her that it had been done . She was unaware of this. She dismissed the reason for me being brought in completely (extremely high blood pressure after standing). She said there are signs of infection but she doesn’t know where. Then another doctor came in and said that I just needed painkillers and to eat no fat, then went home. I still feel unwell and in pain.
Warwick hospital is superb in my experience. Professional, skilled, compassionate and caring. There can’t be a better hospital
Communications by staff, especially ambulance paramedics, doctors and personal nurse were excellent. Much improved on previous experience
