There seemed to be hesitation about whether I qualified to be cared for of not which was of course disconcerting
Am not sure what the criteria rea but I hope they are flexible and not something staff have to worry about. If they can help people that should be all they need to consider.

I was bleeding badly but had a five hour wait. I had to ask numerous times for pain relief and a drink of water. I wasn’t given any aftercare advice. This was a very serious dog bite.
Suggested improvements
Keep patients informed. Cut waiting times down. Given me something to mop up the blood.

The nurses and the Hca were very kind and looked after me very very well,the consultant I had was not very sympathetic, he questioned my pain,and I found that very disrespectful,

Very good. I was surprised to be seen so quickly as I had expected a long wait time. Radiologist was very kind and offered to show me my xray films and pointed out the fracture in my hand, later confirmed by the doctor. I was given a splint and an appointment with the virtual fracture the following day.

A lovely hospital receptionist was warm and understanding . The triage nurse sadly was not . But the male staff nurse executed his duties brilliantly and was compassionate and explained every little detail

We saw MIU medic Becky, and she could not have been kinder to my five year old son. Annie in Radiography, was friendly, professional and helpful.
Both ladies are a credit to your team.
We visited on bank holiday weekend and spent a total of three hours in the hospital, which given the layers of treatment we needed, was exceptional.
Thank you all so much.

A vending machine in MIU would be a great addition.
