Waited for 5 hours and never got seen by a doctor, ended up being quicker to go to emergency Gp after sitting in a&e all night.

Individually I was treated well but nothing is joined up . Staff don’t seem to keep proper notes to pass on information and they do not talk to each other.
The care system is not joined up.
Suggested improvements
I was not triaged and was not kept informed about what was happening and when. I was kept waiting for 5 hours before being examined.

All the staff looked after me well considering it was a busy morning at a small A&E and a wait of 1.5 hours was good with the pressure they were under.

I had some nasty burns from hot water, was seen immediately and treated with the utmost care and professionalism. I was checked over thoroughly including my vision. I was given painkillers and cream, and advice going forward with self care at home. Cannot thank them enough.
