This was an exceptional service and I felt safe and cared for throughout.

It is difficult to imagine anything that could have been done better. It did take quite a long time but this was to be expected and I was always kept informed of any waits and how long they would be.

The nurses for the day of consultation were good but just individual nurse/staff was very rude when answering my phone call. The booking coordinator name Tricia in Ophthalmology/Machen Eye Unit even lying.

I felt very disappointed. I can not imagine during the consultation,by one of the most experienced consultant, my concerns was ignored even I repeatedly stressed it to him. I had no chance to tell him my up to date medication of course he did not bother to ask. In his diagnosis report to my GP, the medication the Eye consultant mentioned was the one I stopped 3 months ago already. I have changed 2 new medication since then.

Triage was very stern considering a child was being seen. She was in pain with an ongoing concern. She only wanted to deal with the problem we presented on the day. I do understand why this is important. We didn’t just turn up we were advised by 111 to attend. When we are told by staff well they would say that they don’t know how we run. As the parent and also the child hearing felt very deflated. The treatment from all other care providers was excellent. I do take into account how many difficult people you must see.

Just some cohesion between 111 and AE.

The nursing staff that I saw were patient and compassionate towards me and did the tests that they were able to do on my eye.

I wasn't happy about the way patients coming into A & E several hours after I arrived were called in and I was still waiting. I arrived around 2.40am and, as I was in pain, asked reception staff if I could take more paracetamol (as 4 hours had passed since I last took it). The receptionist said no, I should wait to see the doctor and that there were 5 people ahead of me. However, several people arrived in A & E hours after me and were called in, whilst I was still waiting. I appreciate that some cases are emergencies and need to be seen immediately, but one man came in with eye pain (the same problem as me) more than 4 hours after me and yet he was called in when the Minor Injuries Unit opened at 8.30am. I got back in the queue at A & E reception and asked when I was going to be called. By now it was 9am. I was told that I could go to the Minor Injuries unit. I'm not sure whether I was forgotten about or missed when the staff shift changed, but it was upsetting to be left waiting when others who arrived after me were called in

I had an amazing service at The Minor Injury Unit at Warwick. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor/ physio I saw was kind, efficient with brilliant care for me. I was treated quickly and professionally. It was so worth travelling to Warwick and I would recommend the Unit to anyone who I know that has a minor injury. Thank you so very much

In my view I have absolutely nothing could have improved my visit.

The nurse who treated me was superb. Thorough and very personable. Just a long wait to be seen but once in, it was quick, but with zero rush.

Just wait time but it was a busy Sunday evening. Think it was 2 1/2 hours so actually, as I didn’t need x-rays, that was to the point of being discharged.
