Permanent and some agency staff were amazing and so compassionate, but they are very short staffed here and too many agency staff who have virtually no understanding of eating disorders working here
Lots of use of agency staff who aren’t familiar with the ward or individual care plans.
There has been a lack of support and intervention in organising my aftercare and my discharge plan, both of which remain vague and unresolved despite me continually voicing my concern and needs. I feel I am not involved enough in my treatment plan in terms of my individual needs and that I do not get support from my home team. I do greatly appreciate the compassion shown by many of the health care assistants who treat me with respect and thoughtfulness.
Lack of permanent staff on the ward. No staff in the office when seeking support
Was adequate
The staff are very very argumentative which doesn’t help them and there is nowhere you can find out your rights.
Staff are stretched beyond limits.
This is not fair on both staff and patients.
Since August it’s felt as if the unit has fallen apart. Too many agency staff are used with little experience of an eating disorder ward.
Whilst I am grateful for the staff that have been able to help, some of my care has not happened.
I feel let down.
All the staff are always really helpful.
Excellent therapy, outstanding compassionate staff and all set in beautiful grounds with exceptional facilities.
The care Nicole has received at the Highfield has been exceptional. Thank you so much
