I do not get regular care plans and I am not involved in decisions about my care and aftercare as much as I want and need to be.
Too strict/fixed
Miscommunications
Some staff only seeing the disorder in patients
Kind staff and good support. Understaffed.
Staff are really friendly and do their best to help. They have helped with coming up with plans to support you and the majority are usually good at distracting you too when things are tough
The patients family and staff are unsupportive and they leave you broke.
Excellent service and good improvement
I definitely am not involved in decisions.
I had an appointment I was made to attend on 24/11/21 the staff member asked me how I am and I said I am well but no one believes me. She said she believes me. I said but you are going to give me an injection. She said she was. I said meaning she didn’t believe me. She apologised. If she was being honest then unusually she wanted to make an appointment in about three months which isn’t right.
I asked if they thinks it’s acceptable for a medic not keeping their word. She said it’s not as simple as being acceptable ir unacceptable. I said what I heard from her was that it is acceptable. She said you have to ask why. In all the time I have reported it to the Warneford there is no evidence they have ever asked why.
They didn’t keep me long today but it was very painful and unnecessary.
My mum had to make the appointment as the AMHT wouldn’t respond to me.
Everything.
I am a very polite lady and treat people with kindness and respect I come from a very big family and I am happy to go home.x
